Journal #1

    In pages 1-14 a lot of different things happened. For example they talked about all of the fights they had gotten in. The two brothers had once gotten in a fight with their mother in between them…they started to fight and their mother fell to the ground right between them. After the incident with their mother they decide that that would be the last fight they would ever get into.  Paul sees a Jack Rabbit on their way back from a fishing trip...Paul does not hit the rabbit but the rabbit turns and Paul goes straight to avoid hitting the rabbit, causing him to wreck his car costing him around $175.00 dollars, which back then would be enough to rebuild a whole car.  "Because I don't want to lose a friend". He made this quote when they were encountering the rabbit.

Journal #2

    In pages 15-30, Paul and Norman went out to the Blackfoot River, to the point where the river roars its loudest. Here they say that the backbones of the mountain would not break, and so the mountain compresses the already powerful river into sound and spray before letting it pass. They fished on a certain side of the river so that it would be easier to wade in. " God, he couldn't be so big you could even see his fins" This quote was stated when Paul and Norman were fishing.
