Quote of Book Essay

“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it.”

Although it was very difficult to just pick on quote from this book, I thought this one really put things in

a different prospect for me. This quote is found at the very end of the book, and it impresses me

because it tells you the meaning of the whole book. To me it’s saying that everything will turn out in

the end and run smoothly like a river. Also that that life is like a river…because sometimes life runs

smoothly and sometimes life is rough.

          I selected this passage because it really put together the whole book for me in my opinion. It folds together everything that I did not understand in the beginning of the book.  The author’s use of language in this passage is very powerful. It is also particularly meaningful and very descriptive. The author also makes it very easy to understand, and helps it to fold together very well in the ending by using this quote. This quote really sums it up and he used it well.
