This idea was given to us by my mom actually. The pastor at my church, Oliver Omanson, was involved in World War II and we thought it would be great to talk to him and find out more. We discovered more than we had imagined we would, he shared with us that he was a prisoner of war. We figured that providing more information about prisoners of war would be an interesting topic, and people would want to read about it. All of our genres are based on just that, prisoners of war. A key part of our project is the interview we had with Oliver. He explained a lot of things to us about what it was like to be captured and held by Germans. You can expect to see a lot of being a prisoner and the conditions they were in when they were held. We hope you enjoy!
