My Day
The color of my day is orange. Orange is a busy color, which is exactly how my day is. BUSY. Orange is also a bright, happy color. Most of my days are bright and happy with the exceptional “bad day.” Orange is the best color I can think of to describe my dayWOW

I like being in the cyber soph classes. They are fun and a lot easier than the class I took last year. I think that the school should stick with this program and try it again next year. Maybe they could keep the same class next year, and we could be able to have the computers next year as juniors. HAHA. It will be hard going back to the old methods of school next year.
For the past couple of weeks we have been working on a multi-genre web project. We got into groups of four, and each of us wrote three different genres on a short story that we read. Then we put everything together on a web page. The thing that I liked most about the project was that we were able to work with other people of our choice. The most difficult part about the whole thing was putting everything on the web page and hyper-linking it to the right things. The part that worked well was how we work in groups and got everything done easily and quickly. Next time I am going to try and use my time in class more efficiently than I did on this project, because I ended up doing most of it two days before it was due.

The favorite thing I have on my website would have to be my page with the Mandala and "I Am" poem. It's my favorite because I have the most fun making those two things and they reflect who I am. People that don't know me at can look at that picture or read my poem and get a small understanding about what kind of person I am, and what things I like.
One of the assignments that I've had to do is right an African folktale. First we had to find a folktale and read it. After that we had to take characters from our story and create our own. The thing I enjoyed most about the project was that it was fun reading the different kinds of folktales. They usually always have some kind of moral in the end, and I think that's cool. The most difficult part was writing the actual folktale. I was hard for me to get started. What worked well for me was having my friends edit my story for me. It helps to have someone else's opinion while writing instead of just your own. This time I think I did a good job on my project, and I wouldn't change anything that I did.

If someone surfing the internet found my website I hope that they would think it is good. I want them to think that the site is neat, well organized, and has good information on it. I don't want them to be bored with the site, although most people probably would be bored with it. If other people view my website I hope that they will think it is worth looking at, and that they will tell other people about my site so they can view it also.
This week in cyber comp. I worked on my African author essay. We had to find an author in our assigned region and read about them. Then we had to write an essay about the author and the stories and he/she writes. I didn't really like writing this paper because it took me forever to actually find an author to write about. My author also wasn't that interesting to talk about either. This essay has taken more of my time to write than any other I have written, and I didn't like writing it that much.

Well, an end to cyber composition. I thought that this semester went incredibly fast. When I first started this class I was excited that I would be able to take it on the computer. I also wasn't that good of a writer. I feel that I have become a better writer because of this class. The writing that we did helped me expand my vocabulary, and lengthen my sentence structure.
My favorite activity that I did in cyber comp was the African Safari unit. I like learning out the different culture. I thought it was fun to research the authors, and the arts and how it affects the people's culture. Making the African masks was also fun. I haven't done a project like that since I was in elementary school, and it was good to have old memories come back to you. I like the way that the class is fun, and the atmosphere is fun to be in. I hope that in forms of fiction I become a better reader, and I am looking forward to reading interesting books, and learning what my purpose in life is.
