You will have a set procedure to follow in class.  Your emails and Announcement Board will tell you what you need to do each day.

1.  When you come to class each day, immediately log on to your computer. Please put any book bags on the tables so they will not be in our way.

2.  Check your email for any messages from me or your fellow students, any returned work from either me or your writing circle.

3.  Open our class website and click on Announcements so get this day's assignments.

4.  Go to work.

5.  If you have any problems or questions, recheck the online directions, then consult members of your writing circle, then ask me.

6.  For each new piece of work, use your writing circle before, during and after your writing.

7.  After Peer Review, revise and email your work to me.

8.  Revise and send back to me any final drafts.

9.  Be sure that you publish your work in progress to your website at the end of each day.  That way I, your fellow students, and your cyber mentors can respond to you on your writing at each step in the process.

10. At the end of each day, you will replace the draft from the day before with your new draft until you have finally published your final draft.

11.  At the end of class, make sure everything that you worked on is saved in your folder and, if applicable, published to your website.

12.  Log off of your computer and clean up any trash around your computer.

13.  You will each have a copy of Writers Inc by your computer as a handbook if you have questions that are not answered by my directions, your writing circle, or the web sites I have given you as resources.

14.  Go to the Help! page if you have forgotten something and need a quick refresher (especially in working with FrontPage).

15.  Reread the Rules for Computer Usage frequently.

16.  Grow as writers and help your fellow students grow.

17.  Have fun writing.
