I Spy
Charlie Stowe is a 12-year-old boy growing up during
World War 2. He stays up late one night to try to take a cigarette from
his fathers shop. He takes the cigarette for the reason that he gets made
fun of because he has never smoked. While down there he sees lights from
under the door and hears people come in. He hides immediately. He listens
to the people talk he realizes that his father is one of them. His father
asks the men to be quiet because he wants his family to stay asleep. His
breath gets harder when his father reaches over the top of where Charlie
is hiding. Charlie is terrified that he may be caught. While hiding he
listens to them he hears the police tell his father that he is going to be
taken away. Charlie soon found out that his father is a spy. Then they all
leave and disappear into the night. Charlie gets up and goes to his
bedroom.
