March 1 1804
It is the nite befor the journe and I
am feeling veary nervious. I
am feeling veary scared and excited at the same time.
I have heard many roumers about Mountians, Huge Beavers, and indians.
I hove that the indians are nice to us.
I hope everything on our
journe goes good. I have said goodbye to my family and friends. Well it is time
to hit the trail so I have to go.

March 3, 1804 We have just reached the Missouri River.
It is a really beautiful site. We
have found that there weren’t any 7 ft beavers or any mean Indians.
We found that the Indians were nice and friendly they wanted peace.
We are getting ready to move on again so I have to get going.
