Essay Of Place

Project

 The place that I feel has given me lots of memories in my life is probably my house.  It is pretty big and I have had many things happen there.  My family has been in our house for 8 years now. At first when we moved there I wasn’t sure that I liked it, but now that I have grown up I have learned that your house can become very important to you.  It is a place that my whole family has helped me when I need help with something.

          My house is pretty big and is tan.  I really like that it is close to a golf course because I really like to golf because it is an activity that my dad and I can do together.  We have lots of fun.  We have contests and play for who will buy lunch from McDonalds when we are finished. Another great thing about my house is that we are close to a basketball court, and I have met many friends there. We hang out there, and in the summer we usually have three on three basketball tournaments.  We also played baseball and football, which was a fun thing to do. 

          We have had many holidays when we have had all of our relatives over to eat and visit with us.  I think that it is nice to see your relatives that you usually aren’t able to see because they live out of town, and you can’t visit with them very much.  I think that my family has helped me grow up to be nice because they have taught me to do the right thing.  They have also told me not to do drugs and not to do anything that I don’t think is right even if my friends really want me to, that I shouldn’t do it if I didn’t think it was the nice thing to do.

          I think that if I hadn’t of moved to my new house that I wouldn’t know some of the friends and neighbors that I know today.  I am now glad that I moved because it is a nice house, and also I like that it is close to a golf course because I have many memories of things that have happened on the golf course with my dad and mom.
