My Day

Yellow, cheerful and fun. Run and play in the sun. Yellow is energetic and jumpy. It means brightness and happiness. Just shine through the day, and glow like a bay.

I enjoy being a cybersoph student. Using the  computer helps me learn to work independently. Having the computer is a lot easier to write papers and have all of your personal folders at your hand. You don't have to always go to the library and use one of their computers whenever you need one. It is easy to look up information on your own computer. The Cyber comp class is a really good experience for everyone. I think everyone should get the opportunity to try the laptops out. The laptops are a good way to make the school be independent.

In my group, we made a website that had to do with a short story we read. I contributed by writing a song about one section, making a haiku poem, and writing a monologue. I enjoyed writing the song because I enjoy taking a tune and adding words to it. I didn't really enjoy writing the monologue because I don't like writing papers. Overall, I enjoyed doing most of this project.

The sophomore composition class this year is a lot different from the other English classes. In sophomore composition we make websites and type different stories on our laptops. In other English classes we just write our stories on paper. It is easier to make corrections on the computer instead of on paper. The cyber sophomore class is a little more complicated than the other English classes because you have to do all your work on the computer and it gets confusing sometimes. It is also kind of more easier than always going home or to the library to type a paper. With the laptop, you always have a computer with you. Being a cyber sophomore is a lot different than other English classes.

I have changed a lot since I have became a cyber sophomore. Being a cyber soph helps make me work more independently. Using the laptop helps me realize that I can do work on my own. This will help me when I go out into the real world. Using the laptop also helps me have more knowledge about computers. When I grow up, I am thinking about going into computer business. Being a cyber soph will help me in the long run. I have changed a lot since I have been in the cyber sophomore computer class.

Since I have been a cyber soph, I have learned and achieved a lot. A lot of our time has been spent making our websites. Making websites has been fun for the most part. Sometimes after working on them so long, they get kind of boring and old. For geography, sophomore composition, and biology, we do these projects using the computer. We just got finished with the Africa Safari project. This project took us a while and was pretty tough. I don't really like the major projects we do, because they take so long and I usually get stressed out after we work on them for a while. I do like it when we look up things on the internet and do things as a class, not by ourselves.

Overall I enjoy being a cyber soph and am learning more everyday about computers and how to work independently. It is a great experience to make your own websites. It takes time but is eventually worth it in the end. I would suggest that everyone should be a cyber soph if they can. It will help them in the long run with working on your own and not always having someone do it for you.

There are some differences in sophomore composition and forms of fiction. In soph. comp., we did a lot more with making the website. In forms of fiction we just add things to the website here and there. In soph comp we did more writing and in forms of fiction we do a lot more reading books and writing about them. I think I am going to like sophomore composition better than forms of fiction. I sort of like writing better than reading books. When I read books, I don't really understand what I am reading. I'm not sure if I'm going to like forms of fiction as well as soph. comp.
