Have you ever been mad or
angry? Do you have a special place where you go when you want to get away? When
I get sad or angry, I usually go to my room. My room is important to me. It is
my special place where I go if I want to get away from my problems. My room has
many different things to do that will help me relieve my problems.
When
I am stressed out or having a temper, listening to music really relaxes me. I
can also just relax in my bed and try to fall asleep. When I wake up, I usually
feel much better and feel more refreshed. Sometimes even organizing my room lets
me forget about my problems. I keep my eye on what I am doing instead of on what
I am feeling.
There
are many things in my room that are special to me. I have pictures from the past
years from school and camp. These pictures are important to me because they
make memories.
I also have different CD’s that I listen to. I really enjoy listening to a
variety of types of music. Sometimes I read magazines or just look at pictures.
One of my favorite things to do is shop, so I love clothes and shoes! Clothes
and shoes are an important part of my room. I love to try on different outfits
and go through my clothes in my closet.
My
room is a place where I can go to get away from all the noise in my house. I
have three brothers, so our house can get really
loud and can give you a splitting headache! My room is like my protection from
noise. When I need it quiet to study, I can go to my room and not be distracted.
My bedroom is like my own private space where I can be alone if I need time to
myself.
Another
thing I enjoy about my room is my ceiling fan. My ceiling fan helps me sleep
better. My fan makes a soft humming sound that makes me relaxed and comfortable.
Without my fan, my ears always make a ringing sound,
and
I usually get too hot. In the winter I still need my fan on, even if it is
really cold outside. Without my fan, I don’t think I could get a good
night’s sleep.
If
you don’t have a special place to go when you need to get away, I suggest you
do so. It will help you relax and get a different perspective on life. It lets
you do your own thing and get away from all the noise. You can go to your
special place when you feel down or mad,
and
you can forget about the thing that’s bugging you. You will feel much better
after you are alone for a while. So go out and find a special place and enjoy
being by yourself.
