As he buttoned his glove in preparation to giving us a lesson, he would say, "It is an art that is performed on a four-count rhythm between ten and two o' clock. Father

He was never "my kid brother." He was a master of an art. He did want any big brother advice or money or help, and, in the end, I could not help him. Norman

In the book, the author explains that they live in area where Paul and Norman fish. This is like us because Yankton has areas in the river and lake that have great fishing.

The father explains the fundamentals of fishing to his sons. This is a connection because I am taught many things in school.

What is foreshadowing from Norman saying "In the end, I could not help him?

Does their dad fish very much anymore?

Does Norman have any children?

Although I have never pretended to be a great fisherman and look like one, especially when fishing with my brother.

One great thing about fly fishing is that after a while nothing exists of the world but thoughts about fly fishing.

Norman says that when he is fly fishing, nothing else matters but fly fishing. That is like me because when I play or do something it is the same way.

Thoughts began to run through Norman's head before he was going to cast and catch the fish. This can also happen to us depending on what the situation is.

Do you think Paul will continue to make more problems?

Will Norman start to do fly fishing more?

Even though Paul must have had three or four fish by now, I took my time walking down the trail, trying with each step to leave the world behind.

Many of us probably would be better fishermen if we did not spend so much time watching and waiting for the world to become perfect.

I glanced at the sky which I had forgotten about since the world had become no higher than a bush.

Norman kept digging himself into a hole when he was asking his brother questions and asking if he need help. This can happen to us sometimes too.

The fish began to act different and hop in the water due to the weather. Some pets and even humans will become excited or scared if the weather changes.

Why doesn't Paul want help with anything?

Do you think Paul had ever seen anyone catch a big fish by the bushes or was he just trying to make Norman feel better?

Why did Norman care about the flies if he gets them for free anyways?

The survived the next day and the day following, when Paul and I crossed the Continental Divide and left the world behind, so I thought.
