CHOO!! CHOO!! Chuga chuga chuga!!! I wake up to the sounds of the train. My name is Suzie. I am from Congo, Africa and had just left Canada on my way to the United States. I am to meet my uncle who lives in Michigan, Lansing I think it is. As I was thinking of all the ice cream my uncle is going to give me (he works at Blue Bunny), I hear an explosion. The train is cracking and creaking, and we immediately come to a violent, complete stop.

From what I can tell the train is on its side. It smells like smoke, and everyone that is still alive is either in shock or screaming because they are terrified. I hear loud yelling noises outside the train. It sounds like there is an army out there, but that’s just the thing, there is an army out there! They must be looting the train. I have heard of this kind of stuff happening to other trains, because of an army group known as the Incans. I can only think of one thing to do in a situation like this, the one thing that I am good at. I am Suzie of Congo, so I decide to hide. I am the best hide-and-go-seeker in the world. I look up, and under one of the seats is a secret space used for important things. I noticed that it was a tad bit broken, so I climbed up there and hid.

As I lay there thinking of how long this is going to take, I realize that there are many soldiers in my part of the car. They are wondering back and forth looking for valuables and killing everyone in sight. When they thought that they got everything in my car they moved on to the next one, completely oblivious to the fact that I was sitting there unnoticed. Much time has passed now and I can’t hear any of the fighting or yelling anymore, so I decided to get out of my hiding spot. I got out of the car and went outside; from there I could see that there were patrol cars coming in my direction. Ambulances, fire trucks, rescue units, and every other type of emergency unit you could think of. It was a relief to see them coming to help those that were wounded and what not. When they got to me I told them what had happened, and where I was going. They put me in a patrol car and gave me a ride to my uncles.

When I got to my uncle’s, he was relieved with joy, and I knew that he had heard the news about my train. I was scared and tired from the happenings of my afternoon, so I talked with my uncle John for a while then went to take a nap. When I woke up, my Uncle overwhelmed me with 20 bowls of ice cream, each one filled with a different flavor. As we sat there consuming the ice cream, he told me that if he came up with a new flavor idea, then they would promote him and he would never have to worry about money again for the rest of his life. I sat there thinking, and just as I was ready to put some cinnamon in my Egg Nog, my hand slipped and it poured into the bowl of vanilla ice cream. I got really mad because my favorite kind is Vanilla, but then my Uncle told me not to worry. He said to stir it up and give it a try, so I stirred it up evenly so that it looked half good. I took a big spoon full and began to taste it. I could feel the vanilla melting in my mouth, leaving the cinnamon on my tongue then it sliding down with the next bite. It was soooooo good! I told my Uncle to try it, when he swallowed he got up immediately to get more Vanilla and more cinnamon and told me to make another bowl, we were going to Blue Bunny to give them the flavor.

When we got to the factory, I was filled with excitement and hope that they would like it and promote my Uncle. He went straight to the testing department and handed the bowl to the man in charge. He tried it and absolutely loved it. He went straight to the boss and told him that this was the new flavor they were looking for. My Uncle and I jumped for joy, and he got his new promotion. We went back to the house and just made plans of getting a new house, and I would get to stay with him forever.
