Gail A Evans was born in Carltonville, South Africa on November 1, 1958. as a child she dreamed of becoming a ballet dancer. But after she received many medals and honors on her ballet exams, that dream fell aside and speech and drama became her new passion. She got her diploma from Pretoria Technikon. Her mother warned her that if she followed the path of the arts, she would have a hard life, and her mother was right. Gail worked in television and radio. She also performed on the stage. These jobs didn’t pay very well so she also had a job as a waitress that provided the money to have a home. 1985 she married an engineering geologist and spent this time traveling the county of South America. She had to carry many different things in the back of her car for all this time traveling, they were having children. They had diapers and water purification pills to make their babies bottles. It was during this time that she found her love of writing. Her first book was titled The Firstborn Of God. Resolving the Contradictions in the Bible. For this book she did a lot of research and it was more of a religious self-help book. After writing this and getting it published in 2000 she began to venture in to non- fiction. The book Time Trials explores the spiritual and political view of the character Miriam. Her books often show how much she loves the country of South Africa and how she cares for Africa. Gail A. Evans is an accomplished African Author of the 21st Century.
