From the story of the Lion and the little Jackal
(Lion replied: "I have merely come to see you. I wish you to let down the rope."
Little Jackal let down a rope made of mouse skins, and when Lion climbed a little way up, the rope broke, and he fell and was hurt. He then went home.)
Deep in the heart of South Africa there was a family of lions. They lived peacefully with the rest of the animals. This family had many cubs but one brave and special one in all. Kato was the youngest cub in the family, born just two years earlier. Kato was a wild and adventurous little guy. He had a lot of trickery and mischievousness in him. Kato was very good at playing games and tricks. Kato’s father did not have this gene. He had been fooled by the little Jackal my times. So Kato and his good friend Tano decided to get the Jackal back.
Tano and Kato met up at the Tree of life to play. They liked to wrestle and dream about one day becoming the kings of the jungle. But, today they had specific plans. They needed to develop a plan to trick the jackal that made Kato’s family look undignified. They had decided to make the jackal fall into a trap that he wouldn’t be able to get out of. They wanted the jackal to die. They thought of many different plans and none of them do justice. They decided that the only way possible was to get the entire kingdom involved. They decided that they would be trampled by a herd of wild boars.
Tano and Kato were friends with Maury, the wild boar that was good friends with Kato’s father. Tano and Kato needed Maury’s help to organize the wild boars and get the jackal in place. Maury had a lot of authority with the heard. Maury sent one of the boars to tell the jackal to be at the bottom of the ravine. The jackal was to be told that one of his children were in trouble.
The herd was placed at the top of the ravine when the specialized boar came to the top the herd was let loose. There were more than 100 boars racing to the bottom of the ravine. It was a herd of thundering wild pigs. Kato and Tano thought that it had to be successful, but when they got to the bottom there was no sign of the jackal? Tano and Kato were shocked. They couldn’t believe it; they thought that this was a foolproof plan. With all the planning underway and the belief that the end was near for the jackal. The jackal had overcome again.
