British Plane Goes Down, Americans Aboard

Casablanca- Yesterday citizens of Casablanca witnessed an appalling event.  A British plane carrying 140 American passengers went down due to a malfunction in the engine. The troops aboard were leaving Africa and heading home. “This accident was a awful event, but we can’t let it keep us from accomplishing what we came here to do,” Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower said. “Last night we took a break in our supper to honor the troops we lost.  Although everyone is terribly hurt we will be back tomorrow preparing for our next attack.”   The plane crashed just outside of the airport in Al Jeers.    There were no survivors of the crash.
