Hello everybody. This is Kara and Melissa’s Living Histories project. We did our project over North Africa’s involvement in World War II. We came up with this subject because Kara’s grandpa, Mark, was in North Africa during this major event in history. Our project consists of an interview with Mark, a history overview paper about our subject, and four other genres.
Mark was involved in Radio Communications and came close to being a major part in the Battle of the Bulge. Our four genres have to do with Mark and the information he told us. You can expect see a possible letter Mark wrote to his wife back home and a recipe of a popular food Mark ate while in Africa. The history overview should also give you a good idea of America’s involvement in North Africa. Here is a picture of Kara and I with Mark.
