The Leopard’s Hunt

One day Jackal and Leopard went out hunting. The Leopard was being selfish. Saying he would get three quarters of the meat from their kill and Jackal could have the remaining quarter of meat.

Also the leopard said that he would make the Jackal do all the work by bringing the Zebra down for the kill.  The Jackal was going along with the strategy that the Leopard advised. Being as a nice animal he was.

After a long day of work they found a herd of Zebras feeding on grass. The Leopard wanted the Jackal to bring one zebra down. The Jackal took of towards the Zebra at full speed the jackal pounced and clawed the zebra. However, the Jackal was not strong enough to bring down the Zebra all by himself so the Zebra got away.

When meeting up with the leopard, the leopard was furious saying that should have been an easy kill. Kindly, the Jackal replied by saying that if he had some help from leopard that they would have had their dinner.

Because of the Leopards laziness and greediness they went hungry.
