The Korean War started June 25, 1950 and ended about July 27, 1953. It was a war between Communist North Korea and anti- communist South Korea. This war was also a proxy war between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. The United Nations aided South Korea.

    This War is often called "The Forgotten War"
