My Mother

What would I hear?

If it weren't her yelling to wake me up in the morning.

Where would I end up?

Without her nagging on me to do my homework.

Where would I go?

Without her to direct me down the path of life.

How would I get up?

If she wasn’t there to pick me up and encourage me when I seem to fall.

What would I see?

If she wasn’t always there smiling down at me.

What would I do?

If she wasn’t there helping me in every way she can…

To raise me to be the good person that I want to be.

Without my mother,

I don’t know where I’d be.
