Sweet-and-Sour Chicken

1 ½ lb. chicken, boned and cubed

1 ½ cup water

¼ cup brown sugar

½ tsp. salt

10 oz. Pineapple chunks

½ cup sliced onion

2 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp. Soy sauce

¾ cup sliced green bell pepper

Brown the chicken in a large skillet or wok. When chicken is nearly done, add onion and green pepper.

In a separate pan combine other ingredients and cook until clear and slightly thick… about 2 minutes. Add chicken and cook until chicken is done.

Serve over rice. Serves 6.
