Dear Andrew Barton Paterson,

    I just got finished reading your short story The Dog. It was a very interesting and inspiriting story. I wouldn't mind reading another short story that you have written. The reason that I like your short story is because I have two dogs. My dogs are just like the ones you described in your story. One, Roxy, knows most of the basic commands like sit, stay, lay, rollover, speak, and sometimes she will dance. My other one, Buddy, only knows dance, walk, spin, and sit. I love making them dance because it is so cute when they do. I really didn't understand the part in your story when you said that if the dog doesn't have work it is like a man that doesn't have work. In all thought it was a great short story.
