Thus far in my life, there is one person who truly has shaped and formed me into who I am. My dad has taught me to be a humble person, and let me know that it doesn’t matter what other people think about me, it’s what I think about myself. He has also taught me to never give up and to set goals in life.

    My dad had always been supportive of everything I have done, and always seems to see things my way as well as his. He always encourages me to try my best in school and to give it my best effort. When it comes to extra-curricular activities, he pushes me to my limits. Although sometimes it seems he is never satisfied, it gets me to give 110% all the time.

    It seems he is always there for me when I need to talk, and always understands how I feel. He has taught me the most important things in life, such as to respect myself as much as others. He has taught me how to be hard working and at the same time to be very humble. I hope someday, if I am ever a father, I hope I can teach my children half as much he has taught me.
