The Jungle
Once upon a time, in the far reaches of the African jungle, there was a brave, adventurous, young native chief by the name White Feather. Chief White Feather was the leader of an extremely large tribe, in present day Africa. This specific part of the jungle was inhabited by two tribes, one being Chief White Feather’s tribe and the other by an evil chief named "Slays with Ax" whom were always feuding with one another.
It all started when a woman of the tribe came pleading to Chief White Feather, saying "My youngest child wondered off far into the wilderness while I was preparing out dinner! Please can you help us find him?" At the time, the chief was extremely busy because of the harvest season, which was going on at the moment.
After much consideration, the chief and two, of the top warriors set out to fetch the young boy. At first the chief thought it would be an easy task to find the young boy but soon he would find out how wrong he was. One day passed, and on the second after a short nap at high noon, the chief awoke to find one of the 2 warriors missing. He instantaneously jumped off the bed of vine, and awoke the lone warrior. There wasn’t a clue of what happen besides for what looked like a set of footprints, and a trail where it looked as if something were dragged along the way.
Once the sun rose, the chief and now only one warrior set off on day two of the journey to find the missing boy. At high noon, they stopped to rest, and when the chief returned from the river the second warrior was nowhere to be found. Once again, the only clue of disappearance was many sets of human tracks and skid marks where it looks as though something was dragged along the trail. The chief now knew he had to find the warriors and child before nightfall or else he would be next.
An hour or so later, he saw a cave in a huge mountainside. He slowly walked closer, and he soon could hear familiar voices of the two warriors and the whimper of the young child. He reached the end of the cave and in the corner tied up in vines were his 2 warriors and young child.
As they reached the entrance of the cave there was the evil chief "Plays with Ax" waiting for them. Chief White Feather pulled a sword from his belt and ran at the evil chief. "Plays with Ax" dodged the oncoming sword and took a swing at White Feather but was blocked and the ax handle had split and broken into two pieces. Chief White Feather slowly strutted toward the evil chief and told him that his tribe must leave the jungle and never come back.
