Dear Jane:

How are ya? I’ve wanted to call you so many times. Ever since you and Stradlater went on that date. I was kicked out of Pencey, in case Stradlater didn’t tell you. I only passed one out of my five classes. They say I don’t try in class. Anyways, I left Pencey and stayed in New York for a couple of days. I saw Sally. It was a great adventure. I had some crazy occurrences while there. I met up with Phoebe. It was great seeing her again. I really did miss her. I think that I might head out West for a while. I don’t know; maybe find a job or something. I’ll be back soon though. I’ll keep in touch though.
