Informative Essay

This essay is explaining the 2nd part of the 4 selected sections of the book, Chinese Handcuffs. This part leads up to the Climax. This part is the rising action. In these 8 chapters or so, Dillon and Jennifer get to know each other a little better. They go on a first date, which fails miserably. Jennifer is hiding a harmful secret from Dillon. All the while Dillon is on edge thinking of what it could be that made her so down that night.
The next date with another friend, Stacey, and her child, Ryan, the four expose more information. Dillon learns that Ryan was Preston’s son as he expected. He also finds out that Jennifer has been getting sexually abused from her stepfather, T.B. Dillon wants desperately to help Jennifer with her problem, but she insists that he stays out of it. Dillon continues to write to Preston in his journal, explaining what has been going on in his life. Later on Jennifer is convinced the problem must be stopped, and they figure out a plan to catch T.B.

Dear Dillon,
I would like to thank you for what you did for me. I real respect you for that. You helped me when times were tough for me. I cant express how this makes me feel. What you did when you knew what could have happened to you but you did it any way. I am so happy it is all over now. I know he will never touch you again. The times were very tough for you and me new it and helped me. I am so happy you are such a good friend and I just wanted to thank you. It meant so much to me so thanks again.
