Soccer Injury

We were playing in the semi-finals in state. I was starting goalie for our team, called Force. We were playing a team named Belle Fouche, and one of their teammates crossed the ball in to the 18-yard box. When I jumped up to grab it, there was another kid that came around and took out my legs, and I fell straight to my back. It hurt so bad that I couldn’t play any more, so our back up goalie Cody Garvey came in to play while I went out to have my back checked on.

I thought it would be okay if I just walked it off, so I tried to walk it off. It was getting a little better before the next game, so I did not think I needed to go to the chiropractor to get it checked out. When that game came I could not play because it hurt every time I would try to move really quickly to get into position. I could not play for the championship game because of my back.

I went to the chiropractor to get it checked up on, and he said that I had just bruised a muscle, and that I would be better by the next tournament if I iced it and stayed off it to let it rest.
