Haunted House

Have you ever been to a Haunted house? Of course you have. When I was about eight or nine I finally got to go to my first haunted house. I tried to go so many other times before, but I was always stopped by my mom who told me I would have nightmares if I went or my older sister who would tell me no because I’m not old enough. That was soon going to change. I was determined to go to the haunted house!

The night before Halloween I begged my mom if I could go with my older sister and her friend. I pleaded with her to go, and after a little persuasion I got her to say yes, but before I could go, my mom sat me down and explained that it was not going to be her fault if I came home crying went to sleep had bad dreams. I told her it wasn’t going to happen and, then I left.

We drove a ways until we saw the haunted house ahead. I jumped and raced inside, only to stand in line for an hour and a half. I was so impatient I wanted to run right through the line of people and get in the house of horrors. We finally got into the haunted house, and right when I gave the lady my money, I started to feel a little woozy. Now that I was there, I didn’t really want to go in, but my sister nudged me in the dark narrow hall and I was off. I started out tiptoeing through the hall, until I felt my sister push my back to get going.

As we were walking, getting spooked by dressed up vampires, werewolves, and creepy monsters, we saw some boys that were carrying around flash lights and glow sticks, which wasn't allowed in the haunted house,  we were right behind them, so I guess the workers in the haunted house thought we were part of it so they lead us the opposite way everyone else was going and the door they made us go out lead outside.  One of the workers came up to my older sister and told us why were got kicked out.  My sister tried to explain to them it wasn't us, but they just did listen. After awhile she gave up mad as ever and we left.
