I had a fort in a forest at one time when I was little. My friends and I always went there when we were bored and played games and built onto the fort. One video taped a movie there and did really dumb stuff. We were going to stay the night there but it was not built well and we would be too cold.
The forest was not really a forest but a big patch of clustered trees. In the summer time the grass turned very long and many animals lived there. We found all sorts of stuff in our mini forest like an old path tub, and a coffee can full of nails. Also in the wintertime it was a good spot to go sledding because the mini forest was on a slant.
We liked to protect out tree fort with old barbwire that we found in the forest. My friends and I made I wire fence around our fort and a mini alarm system to draw off intruders. We had be plans for out fort, we almost decided to put it in a tree someday. One day we came to our fort and saw someone had destroyed it. I rebuilt it with some other friends of mine and it took a lot of work. In the end we eventually forgot about the fort and the whether probably has eaten it away. I will really miss my old fort that my friends and me once had.
