My church wanted our youth group to go to Colorado for a hiking trip. It sounded exciting so I decided to tag along. I had to buy hiking boots, and small, easy to store hygiene appliances. I needed a pack for carry my goods so I borrowed one from the National Guard, which is where my father works at. I got all packed up and ready for the big day, which was very early in the morning.
The ride up was very interesting and fun. One of my friends Jason came along too since he went to my church. Him and me listened to music talked and did idiotic thing. The ride up was very long and boring. We all stayed in a motel for one night and finished our trip in the mourning.
When we got to the camping ground me and Jason decided to go into the forest and see all what was in there. As we entered the forest we saw a deer, then we decided to go climb a small mountain. It was very hard to get up the mountain be we climbed up a small skinny tree to get to the top. Jason and I took many pictures and then we decided we wanted to leave the mini mountain. The only way down was the skinny little tree! So we were up there for an hour trying to get down and I finally got down by finding little holes and cracks in the monstrous rock. Then it was Jason’s turn to come down.
Jason decided to jump off the cliff onto a tree because he was too short to reach the cracks and dips in the mountain. He was hanging on the tree just over the cliff and instead of me saving him I laughed. He felt back on the cliff barley and survived and we returned back to camp to tell the others.
