Dear Author of The Wolf And Seven Little Kids,

I really enjoyed your book. I like the way you write about the wolf trying very hard to dress himself as the mother of the seven kids. In your book I like the way you made the sheep quite observant about how the kids could tell if it was their other. Your short story reminded me of when I had a fort in a mini forest. It is too bad though that the wolf gobbled up the sheep.

When the mother came back to her house, I liked the way you made the mother so determined to get her children back. I thought it was clever of you to make the mother cut the wolf’s belly open and slowly take out her children and sew the wolf’s belly back up. One by one, the mother took them, and they were all alive, which surprised me. What really surprised me was that the wolf never woke up during this entire happening. I thought it would have been more exciting if the wolf had awakened when this episode was occurring.

I also thought that putting rocks in the belly of the wolf was clever. This would be the ultimate come back for the mother of the seven children, also certain death for the wolf. When the wolf awakened, he noticed all the weight in his stomach and wondered why there was no movement. The wolf decided he was thirsty, so he wandered his way to a well. When he bent over the well to get a drink, all the weight in his belly made him fall in! The wolf got stuck in the water of the well and drowned, leaving the mother of her baby sheep safe from harm when she is out.
