It was two summers ago when my dad said, "We need a vacation."

My sister Luci and I really wanted to just go shopping, so we asked to go to Omaha. My dad told us that's where we will go.

I was so happy to finally go to a different place to go shopping. Well we were on our way at noon to go to Omaha.

I was so excited I barely could get any sleep that night, so I slept most of the way.

When I woke up I saw the rode sign that said Kansas City. I was surprised but, confused. I asked my dad why we were in Kansas City and he told me that is where we will be for our vacation.

I was mad at first before he told us we were going to Worlds of fun and Oceans of fun. We went to our hotel and unpacked. We got there about 7pm so we just stayed there and ordered pizza.

The next morning we left to go to Worlds Of Fun and I was so excited.

When we got there we went on so many rides it was fun.

The one I went on like millions of times was the mamba!

It was the scariest ride and I thought it was cool. We were so sun burnt and exhausted that we went back to the hotel and went to sleep.

The next morning we got ready and went to Oceans of fun.

When we got there all we wore was swimming suits because it was hot outside and all we did is go on slides and swim.

After all the swimming and fun rides we went back to the hotel for one last night.

I was sun burnt but, was happy we came. I guess dads idea of a surprise was really fun and exciting. That was the best vacation I’ve ever had, so far.
