THE GREEN GOBLIN

Once upon a time there was this little girl named Keri that had to go and live with her aunt for a month because she got into an argument with her father. Her aunt lived in a cottage in the middle of some woods. Keri loved the out doors, and now she was able to find more interesting things to explore. She went out to go and take a walk when she found this little shack that looked really old and abandoned.

She went to go and take a look at it. but then she heard a weird noise coming from the shack.

Keri hurried to go and look inside. She slowly opened the door and saw a little green goblin. She was very scared at first but then moved closer to it. The green goblin asked, "Who are you?" 

Keri replied, "I am Keri I live over here with my aunt, who are you?"

"I am Austily," the green goblin answered. She started to wonder why a green goblin named Austily was in a shack in the middle of the woods and not with his family? 

"Why are you here all by yourself?" 

Austily answered, "My mother was kidnapped by this ugly witch, and she told me to run away, so I did; so I am staying here until she comes back to get me."

 Keri was confused but mad all at the same time.

"Why don’t we go and find her?" she asked. 

Austily looked very scared when Keri had mentioned that, but he agreed to go find her. Keri stopped at her aunt’s house before she and Austily would go and find his mother.

They finally left and started through the woods looking for this old witch's'cabin. Austily said it was close by the river, so Keri knew exactly where to find it. They came to a little cabin right by the river where Austily said his mother was.

Both of them slowly walked up to the cabin where they peeked through the window. Austily and Keri both saw his mother in a little cage right by the window, but no witch around. They decided to go in and see if they could rescue his mother. Once they opened the door and shut it, they knew they could get her. They found a key on the counter, so they grabbed it and went to unlock her cage. Keri got it unlocked while Austily helped his mother out.

They took her away and asked her where the witch was, and she explained, "She had left to go find some poison so she could kill me, but you two were just in time.’’

Keri took Austily and his mother back to the shack where she once found him. Keri told them that they could stay there for as long as they wanted, and she would come and visit them everyday and bring food. So, Keri saved both their lives, and they all lived happily ever after.
