   "Ralph, how do you feel about Piggy's death and what do you plan to do without the conch?"

   "Piggy's death or murder was horrible.  The tribe has gone mad and doesn't think of the fire or having organization.  If we don't have smoke, no one will see so no one will find us.  The conch was very special but now that it's broken, who knows what is going to happen."

   "Do you feel as if your life is in danger?"

   "I don't know.  Yes and no.  I wouldn't think that they could hurt or kill a human for fun.  They chose me as chief.  I tried to keep everything together."

    "Do you think you'll ever get rescued?"

   "I hope so.  We need to keep the fire going and they only use it on food.  So the smoke doesn't show.  The way things are going right now, it looks like there's no hope."
