Dear Grandpa,

This is David. I am writing to let you know that one day I plan on taking over the family business. I know that this might not shock you, but it has been something that I have been pondering for a while. The reason that I decided to tell you first is that I know that you can talk to my dad, and let him know that it is important to keep the jailhouse going. I am afraid that if I tell him, he might not let me get in to the sheriff business. The only way that I could not be sheriff is if we moved, and hopefully that won’t happen.
