                                                             Intro to Cyber Comp                          01/24/03

I think that is maybe one of the most valuable classes I have ever taken because even though I could take a sophomore composition class with just about any other English teacher I think this one may be more beneficial to me because I’m not really that good with computers and it seems to me like I am also taking a computer course along with this class because that is mostly what it is. I think a cyber composition class is a great idea and very efficient in its own sense it (should) be quiet and it should reduce the use of paper and the "I can’t find my assignment Ms. S" because it should either be saved on my computer or e-mailed to you.

What Assault Means To Me????

1/31/03

I learned from this class to not, indeed not to “assault” another person who I will call “anonymous” with a free (with purchase with tons of additional software) mouse pad. At first I pondered why senseless violence wasn’t approved in the classroom but then I thought for awhile (yes it hurt) I found just about no logical explanation for why there couldn’t be violence in the class room. I didn’t consider it morally wrong to hit some one (not very hard) with a mouse pad, and I certainly didn’t and would never consider it assault, because the teacher then turned around verbally “assaulted” me for “assaulting” another fellow student I was a mere victim of example. So therefore I conclude that it wasn’t me who was the assaulter but the assaulted.

Assault-1 a: a violent physical or verbal attack…Merriam-Webster dictionary
