What will you do with what you have learned in this class?

The stuff that I learned in this class will help me a lot in the future and I am glad I have the opportunity to take the computer version of Sophomore Comp. It should help me in the future and help me achieve my goals. I think it is a fun class so far and I have learned a lot. I have learned how to make my own web page and make it look very nice. I have learned how to criticize other people’s work and not make them feel bad or offend them. I have also learned a lot more about how to use a computer.

What have I learned?

I have learned a lot of stuff in this class. I have learned how to Microsoft FrontPage, and how to make my own web page. This class is very exciting and fun. I have learned how to proof read my essays and writing assignments to make them error free and flawless. I have also learned how to read other's papers and criticize their writing without insulting them. I have also learned how to become a better and efficient typer.  I have learned how to be patience and wait for the teacher to come to me, instead of yelling.   I have learned how to change the setting on my web page and make them look more like my style.

Do you ever find yourself helping others to learn something?  How does that feel? Is this a normal role for you or new to you?

During my time in I feel that I help many people out in my sophomore comp. class.  Sometimes I even ask for help, and everyone in this wonderful class seems to be kind and courteous and they help me out.  When I help other people it makes me feel like a whole new person. I Have this great feeling inside me that I  have never felt before. It makes me want to get out of my computer chair and help everyone in this class.  Helping others is a normal role for me I think of my self as a helpful classmate.

What has been most challenging or frustrating for you and how have you met the challenge or overcome the frustration?

There has been many frustrating moments and obstacles for me is this class.  I feel like just giving up sometimes and I don't want to do my work, but I know it will affect me in the long run.  My grades will go down and I will not pass this class. During the beginning of the semester we got a lot of stuff to do and I was very overwhelmed, but I calmed myself down and focused on what tasks that I had to accomplish, and I got them done quickly and efficient.  It gives me confidence when I get my assignments done on time. I feel that I developed my skills in learning and studying.

If an outsider visited your site, what would you hope he or she would think about?

If an outsider visited my website, I would hope he or she would think that this is a really good thought out website, and one of the best the person has ever seen.  I hope they learn a lot of information and keep it in their brain forever.  I hope they understand all of the different pages that I created by myself.  I hope they see that I am intelligent and creative when making websites. I hope they will visit my site again in the future to learn interesting articles and information. I hope they tell other people about my site so they can look at it.  I hope they would think about making their own website like mine.

I think this class is fun and exciting. It teaches me how to become more familiar with computers and how they work. I have learned a lot in this class, and I how I will learn more during the last quarter of the year. Sometimes it is overwhelming how we have a lot to do and seems like we do not have much time to get it all done. When times like these arise, I crack down and try even harder to accomplish the things that Mrs. Schulze has assigned for us to do. It makes me mentally stronger and wiser, also it makes me physically stronger too, because we do more than enough typing in this class that makes my fingers and arms endure much pain. My favorite thing I like in this class is the partner books, because we could read at our own pace and discuss what we read with our partners.
