Hi! My name is Russel. I live in one of the coldest parts of the world, Alaska. The town I live in is very small. Our main form of transportation is snow machines (snowmobiles). When I turned fourteen I moved in with Oogruk. Oogruk is a wise man that taught me the old ways of life. The way Oogruk lived when he was young. After many days living with him, he pasted away. I was left on my own to hunt for food and live the life that Oogruk lived. During the time that I lived on my own I experienced many obstacles in becoming a man.
