There are many things that are interesting about the beach. There are many beaches around our town. I would rather spend my day at the ocean, but since we don’t live close to one, midway is fine with me! It is my favorite place to hang out in the summer time. I either just sit or lie on my towel while the hot sun rays tan my body and watch everybody in the water either boating, tubing, or just splashing at each other.
I have always gone to the lake, ever since I was a little baby. My mother and father used to take me there. Now days I either go in the daytime or at night. When it is darker out, it’s not so hot, and I won’t get sun burned. Also at night I love to watch the beautiful sun set with many pretty colors such as purple, pink, sometimes orange and yellow.
Who could think of a better place to be besides the beach? It’s a relaxing place. The soft sand always feels wonderful as you can feel it in between your toes. The sight and sound is so wonderful, lying there as you can hear the water hitting the shore. When you look out, you can see everybody having so much fun. When I go to the beach, it feels like a stress-free day.
Ever since I can remember, my sister and I would go to the beach at least four times a week during the summer, either in the day or at night. It is very memorable because my sister and I are so close nobody could ever ruin our friendship. Now that she is gone, sometimes I just go to the beach at night and think of everything that we used to do or talk about. If my sister still lived here, I think that I would go to the beach more then I do now.
The beach will always be my most memorable and favorite place to go, because I can sit and think to myself now about everything, and nobody is there to interrupt me. There are also times though that I love to go have fun with my friends, swimming and splashing water around.
