Dear Mrs. Rowling,

When I read your first book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, I wanted to read more of your books about Harry Potter.  The first book left me wondering of how Harry will turn out in the rest of his years at Hogwarts.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone appealed to me because of the fights he had to over come.  Also, the different types of spells and enchantments the school would teach him and the other students at Hogwarts.  The book attached me to keep reading it and see where Harry would end up in his wizarding life.  I also enjoyed it because of how Harry reminded myself of me.  He had family problems and he wants to find his place and soon after with the help of Hagrid, he found his place.  The book was inspiring to read from my point of view.

The sequel Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, was a great second book to read because you give greater sites of Hogwarts and give more different ideas of how it like inside.  Your Harry Potter books are just stimulating because of the excitement and adventure you put into these. You are one true great author.

There’s one thing I have to question on.  Will the Dursleys ever become nice to Harry Potter?  I have been wondering about this for some time while reading your books.  You have done an awesome job with your writing and keep giving great adventures in your stories.

                                                                                    Sincerely,

                                                                                       Phil Johnson
