Persuasive
No one will be treated unjustly again, and those who do the persecuting will be punished. My persuasive essay is about how the "jocks" should have to also get good grades, at least B’s. Also, how the teachers shouldn’t cut them any slack, just because they are good at a sport. Finally, how they shouldn’t be treated at all any better just because they are on a sports team.On an opening point, getting B’s or a 3.00 average GPA isn’t too difficult. Even I can do it I have almost straight A’s, and the only class I actually try in is Soph. Comp. So if they say it’s to hard, they should get help and not be able to play in the next sports events until their grades are up instead of, "Oh it’s Ok, go ahead, you’ll get it fixed later."
Also, there should be no exceptions for misbehavior, even if they are the stars of the team. If they mess up, get in trouble, or do something they’re not supposed to, they get a slap on the hand and that’s it because the team "needs them." Anyone else that does the same thing gets detention, ISS, or OSS.
We should all be treated equally over all, no different punishments and no special grades. We are all trying to end all types of segregation, and this just adds more difficulties. Plus, who needs more stress in a school day?
So, as I said, we should all be treated equally. Also, no different criteria, and no special treatment for anyone because we make more barriers for each other that way. We don’t need another way for segregation; we got over most of it, now we should stop it all.
