My Grandparents House

My Grandparents House

The place I have the most fun at is my grandparent’s house in

Wisconsin. Their house is usually quiet, peaceful and always full of family

and/or friends. They live in a small town, and have some acres behind there

home that extends to a small creek in the woods. It seems to be the best place

for me to go in the summer, the reason it is the best place for me to go is

because there aren’t any people that I had to deal with all year. It is my rest

and relaxation place.

Plus, my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are there. I also

was born in Milwaukee so it has special meaning for me to go there and see

places I grew up in but don’t quiet remember. And to remember fun times with

friends and family is a fun thing to do.

Another thing I like about my grandparents house is the smell. There is

a distinct sweet smell, and every time I smell that smell, I look around for

my grandparents even if I’m three states away I look for them. And I

always love when we first arrive we get hugs and kisses. And all that

grandparent stuff.

On a different side to things the family fights are the best! Whenever the

whole family on my mom’s side gets together somebody always starts a fight.

That part is funny cause my mom always tries to break it up and us kids are

yelling hit her. One other fact my mom has six sisters and they usually get

along but once in a while they butt heads, so it’s an amusing time.

The last time I was in Wisconsin was last summer, and I got my ears

double pierced, with my cousin Andrea. We also rented lots of movie, went to

movies, and on my birthday I climbed one of those fake rock walls at the

county fair, it was a lot of fun. Although, the night before we went to the fair

I was jumping on the trampoline with my older brother and my cousin Alex,

and they are really wild. After jumping on the trampoline for a while they

started jumping into each other then both of them jumped into me. I flew off

the trampoline and fell with all my weight on my arm on to the ground.

Andrea ran back to the trampoline and yelled, "What did you do to her!" And

it turned out I sprained my arm. Even after that I wanted to climb the wall,

even though my arm hurt a lot.

In conclusion, while I am in Wisconsin I have lots of fun sometimes it

may hurt, but it is still the best place for me to be. It least I think so. Family

and friends are there to help, protect and get me in trouble. The weddings,

reunions, and just plain visits when we can are the best. Even with the

fights.
