~ The Tragic Day ~         

My summer started off great! Always chilling with my friends and going to the beach. We had lots of fun memories. I also played on a summer softball team. That was lots of fun! We never lost a game but one.

School was going to start in about two more weeks. My best friend Amanda called me that Friday and asked if I would like to go with her for a while and do whatever. I said "sure". She picked me up and we went to Taco Johns to get something to eat. After that we had to stop one more place and then we would head back to Amanda’s house and hang out there. We went to our friend Katie’s house to drop off her sweatshirt. When we started leaving there was a hill and it was a blind spot but we waited for a car to pass by so we could go. After the car went by we took off and a car came over the hill and hit us on the driver’s side and all we heard was a bunch of glass fly at us and we spun three times into a ditch. When we stopped spinning and were in the ditch I ran out of the car and went to see if Amanda was alright she was stuck inside the car and could not move nor get out. She was hurting very badly. Some younger guy called 911 my friend’s mom ran to the car to check on us. I was crying and very scared. I was shaking pretty bad. The ambulance came and took me but they had to use the Jaw Of Live to get Amanda out. After a little while Amanda showed up at the hospital they had us take cat scans and everything. We were there for about three hours. Then we left and after we left we were both very sore.

Ever since then when ever we drive by that spot it brings back bad memories.
