How is this class different from other English classes you've had?

This class is different than any other English I have ever had, because it is fun being on a computer, and working online. My favorite thing in the world is not writing essays, but I can tolerate them. I think I am better at working on computers than having my head in a book. Another thing is that this class doesn’t really have that much work out of class. So it would probably be a pretty decent grade on my part. I like the way people can get on your website and read you work you have accomplished. I like watching movies and then later on write an essay on what we seen. Its kind of a test like how much we pay attention. Or how much we can think of putting into words. I really like this class, and the work we do in here. I wish this class could be like others, which I have been in or will be someday.

What's your favorite thing about your web page and why?

My favorite thing about about my web page is adding new pages to my web page. I also like to write  journals, because it allows other people to visit and see what I think of things. I prefer writing in journal rather than essays, because essays are usually required to be longer than a journal would be. It can also give people ideas or things to write about. Some other things I like about my page is the different things you can do on it. Like we got to choose a theme, and pick colors of font and so on.

        What have you learned?

The things I have learned in this class so far has been like how to make new web pages, and adding the theme and the page banner. I've also learned how to hyperlink to another page. Another thing that I have learned is that you need to look in the book or on the class home page for directions then last ask someone else for help, because this class is self directed.

What has been most challenging or frustrating for you and how have you met the challenge or overcome the frustration?

The most challenging and frustrating thing for me is probably when I have a essay written, and then I have to revise. It just seems like a big hassle, but in the long run it is worth it. People have to understand stuff when it goes up on the web page. Some of the revisions just don't make sense, because it seems like it makes more sense the way I have written it. It will always for some reason seem right the way I had it. Then when I revise it it seems to make a little more sense I guess. I have overcome the frustration by trying to understand both points of view.

Do you ever find yourself helping others to learn something?  How does that feel? Is this a normal role for you or new to you?

I do find myself helping others every now and then. They might ask how to do something on their website or what they are suppose to write about. I found myself helping someone to get into their front page so they can do things to their web page. IT also kind of makes me learn from helping them out. I think it is helpful to P schulze because she would have to go around and help everyone individually. I makes me feel good about myself to help someone out so they know what they are doing, and so they learn something. This is a normal role for me because I like helping people out.
