Author Analysis                       

            Yvonne Vera was born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  She went to college and earned a Ph.D from York University in Canada. She now works in the National gallery of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo as the director. She has written at least 5 books.  Yvonne is the author of short stories and long novels. 

            Yvonne is the author of these great books ‘Nehanda’ which was written is 1993, ‘Without a Name’ written in 1994, and also has wrote ‘Under the Tongue’ it was written in 1996.  The Books she has written have received some of Africa great book awards.
